1988 is a very important year in art and music in Tokyo. Mick Jagger is allowed to enter Japan for the first time in 16 years after being banned for involement with drugs from 1972 together with his rock group Rolling Stones. He has his first solo concert in Tokyo Dome which is just completed that year. Nobuyoshi Araki openned his new office called Aat Room with 2 others, Tamiya Shiro and Ansai Nobuhiko showing their obscene works that moved this world to another dimension. These two major events in art movement has been rocking Tokyo since then , giving the town new fresh breath among the smokey air.
